Live tennis score notifications and a scoreboard of the matches in play
To download this Add-On, we highly recommend you do it via the user interface in Kodi. Simply look for the "Get More" button in the Add-Ons menu. If you want to install it manually, you can direct download from the platforms link that matches your platform then in Kodi look for the "Install via Zip" option.
- Description
Notifies you while you watch when a tennis match goes on court, when a set is won and when a match finishes, and optionally on break points. Opening the add-on shows the matches in play with set scores, the current game's points, a marker against the player serving and a break-point marker. Covers ATP, WTA, Challenger and ITF.
Scores come from the Live Tennis API (livetennisapi.com), which the add-on's author also operates. You need a key from that service; its free plan needs no card and is enough for this add-on. Paste the key into the add-on's settings. With no key the add-on does nothing.
The free plan allows 100 requests a day, so the add-on checks every 20 minutes by default, will not check more often than every 15 minutes, and counts every request it makes so it can stop before it runs the allowance out. That is a real limit on how promptly it can report: break points in particular last only a few points, so a check every 15 minutes catches only some of them.
